Premium polyester hakama, Tozando AH500. Made to order. This premium hakama has everything you need for good training, including a soft rubber-reinforced koshi-ita and a raised front hem. It is easy to care for and durable thanks to its internally stitched pleats and reinforcements. Tozando recommends this hakama for high-ranking practitioners and teachers because its thick, lustrous fabric makes movements look smoother and stronger in demonstrations and while teaching. It is made in Japan at Tozando's workshop in Iwate Prefecture from 100% premium polyester. The fabric is made to resemble the feel of cashmere, which gives the hakama a subtle sheen and a luxurious look.

The koshi-ita and all the details are hand-sewn by experienced tailors, and every piece is carefully inspected before delivery. If you want the feel of a truly traditional hakama that will last you a long time and keep its refined shape, this hakama is for you.
