Description
This jo is made of premium Japanese asada wood (hop-hornbeam), often called iron wood in Japan. The wood is exceptionally hard, resilient and shock-resistant, and the surface is smooth and less prone to splinters. The fine, stable grain suits paired kata practice and repeated impact.
