Description
An aikido bokken in solid Japanese white oak, favoured by Iwama style practitioners. It has a blunt tip and a slight curve (sori). The thicker handle (tsuka) helps build a strong grip (tenouchi). The sturdy design suits hard contact training and tanrenuchi. Handmade by expert craftsmen in Japan. Total length 103 cm, blade 76 cm, handle 27 cm, weight about 650–700 g.
