Ryo pants, traditional drawstring waist

The pants of the Tozando Ryo suit complete the lightweight and high-quality ensemble. They are made of 100% cotton and use the same unique weave as the jacket. Instead of the traditional Sashiko weave, the texture used makes the fabric thin and breathable, yet surprisingly durable. The end result is a pair of pants that feel light on the leg, but can withstand a demanding workout.

The material breathes well and dries quickly, making it comfortable to wear even during intense workouts. The lightweight fabric doesn’t feel heavy when you sweat and maintains a comfortable feel even during long workouts. Despite repeated washings, the pants keep their shape and clean appearance.

The cut is designed to support the movement of aikido: the stress on the knees and crotch is taken into account to allow for natural movement, ukemi and lower positions. The waist cut is snug but comfortable, and keeps the pants well in place during training.
